Mr. Daniel V. Stinchcomb is a 1997 graduate of Old Mill High School, where he played trumpet in the band. After graduation, he joined the Marine Corps, and served in the 2nd Marine Airwing Band. After leaving the Marine Corps in 2001, he joined the Army Reserve, and is currently the Acting Commander of the 229th Army National Guard Band.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education cum laude from Towson University, and began teaching at Northeast in 2006. He conducts the concert band, orchestra, marching band, jazz ensemble, and he teaches music theory and guitar classes and works with the Drama Club and Stage Crew.
