Welcome to
the Northeast Music Department!
The are many opportunities for performance available to students
in our music department. Northeast's various music courses
encourage students to strive for musical greatness and allow
them to demonstrate their skill by performing for various school
and community events. These performing groups include our
Concert Choir, Women's Ensemble, Concert Band, Orchestra, Rock
Band and Marching
Band.
Since these classes are performance based, they all require out
of class rehearsals and performances. These co-curricular
experiences enrich the musical experience for each student by
developing confidence, team work, and strong work ethics.
Each spring, our groups take a trip to participate in a national
festival. A fee is charged to students in these groups.
